  • 10:00 am  A narrated Double-decker Bus Tour of Oxford followed by a Musical Luncheon on the historic Oxford Square  $40

  • 2:00 pm  Contest Registration Desk Open in foyer

  • 4:00 pm  Workshop “Stride Piano: Styles & Techniques” with Paul Asaro   $15

  • 5:00 pm  Dinner on your own

  • 7:00 pm   New Rag Contest & Duet Contest $20

  • 9:00 pm   Ring of Ragtime on the Oxford Square at the Oxford University Club (Ticket fee includes admission only – no food or drink included) $15

SATURDAY, MAY 27, 2017

  • 8:00 am Contestants’ Draw
  • 9:00 am  Preliminary Eliminations & Junior Division Contest  $30

SUNDAY, MAY 28, 2017

  • 9:00 am  Workshop “The Cuban & Brazilian Connection” with Tom McDermott  $15

  • 10:30 am  Workshop “Waxing the Strenuous Life! Recording the Complete Works of Scott Joplin: Techniques & Challenges” with Bryan Wright   $15

  • 1:30 pm  Semi-finals and Finals  $30

  • 6:00 pm  Dinner at location TBA (pay your own tab)

  • 8:00 pm  Closing Reception at the Oxford University Club on the Square (Ticket fee includes admission only – no food or drink included)  $15

2017 TICKETS

Ticketing is through the University of Mississippi Box Office and tickets may be printed from home. When ordering online you will be asked to create an account on the UM box office before purchasing. The box office will add a $5.00 surcharge per ticket for online purchases. To avoid this fee, phone the box office at 662-915-7411 and speak directly to a representative. For walk up sales, no service charge will be applied to purchases made at any of the UM box office locations.

This year we will have 3 packages:

1) ALL-EVENT – We mean what we say! This package includes every contest, workshop and catered event. Catered events include the Double Decker Bus Luncheon, Silent Movie Box Lunch, and the Dinner with the Champion. The only thing not included is the T-shirt.

$250 by May 15 / $280 after May 15

2) CONTEST/WORKSHOP – If you wish to attend ONLY the contests and workshops, PLUS the PianoStravaganza™ choose this option.

$110 by May15 / $125 after May 15

3) MAIN EVENT This package includes only the Preliminary Round (Junior Contest included), Semi- finals and Finals.

$50 by May 15 / $60 after May 15

** Tickets may also be purchased individually as fits your schedule. There is no advance purchase rate for single events.
